Seeing a Butterfly: Butterflies are one of the most beautiful insects. Butterflies with their colourful wings are such a lovely sight to watch. A butterfly represents hope, transformation and everlasting life. It shows that just as a caterpillar transforms into a butterfly, with hope and struggle you too can transform your life. There is a butterfly inside all of us only waiting to come out. There is beauty within you, realize this and make your life as colourful as the wings of a butterfly
Calling a sibling: Siblings, the people with whom we spend most of our childhood and even a good part of our teen years. As we grow up siblings can turn out to be the best of friends or the worst of enemies. A sibling who is always there to stand by you , who is there to help you , to take your calls even at 2 o clock in the night is a treasure trove and such a relationship is to be treasured for life.
Breathing deeply: Sit still, breathe slowly and deeply. Watch as your body relaxes and you feel alive and at peace. Deep breathing is one of the best relaxation exercises. Apart from having a number of health benefits air is free and breathing is not taxable. So take in as much as you can and fill yourselves with life.
Looking into the eyes of our beloved: As you gaze into the eyes of your beloved your heart is filled with love and every breath you take makes you feel alive and happy. The gaze can even stop time and you realize how lucky you are to be alive and find such love. The long loving gaze which makes you realize that you are only one soul in two bodies. Such joy, pleasure and happiness can never be bought by money.
Gratitude: A feeling of thankfulness that is perhaps the greatest of all virtues. Every morning when you wake up think of all the good things in your life, count your blessings and be thankful for them. The best attitude to have is the attitude of gratitude.
Passion: A strong emotion that has to come from within. All success starts with a passion or interest. Without passion and love one cannot hope to succeed in any field. Passion, the desire, the inner fire all these have to come from the heart and cannot be bought by money. Let passion be your guiding force in life not money.
Hope: Hope is a good thing and good things don’t die. When you have nothing else left with you don’t lose hope, it could be the only thing that can keep you alive and going. To overcome obstacles and to achieve success you need to have hope more than anything else. Hope, a good thing that will always be free.
Standing up for something good: Do you believe in something? Do you believe in a cause? Do you believe that you can do good to the world. Then stand up for it. Stand up for something good and something that you believe in. When something you believe in comes true it gives you the same happiness and satisfaction as winning a lottery.
Caring: Love can be expressed by caring and concern. Sometimes a little caring for others can bring them joy and happiness and even helps you grow as a person. Caring does not mean giving expensive gifts. A sympathetic ear, a kind word, a warm hug are all free and are all that you need to show someone that you care.
Sunsets: Watching a sunset can be a quiet, relaxing and a peaceful experience. Make it a point to watch one atleast once a week. As the sky is filled with the orange glow of the setting sun let your heart be filled with abundance and joy. It is one of the simple pleasures of life that does not cost a dime.
Sharing a poem: This one’s a bit difficult as not everyone is good at poetry. But a few lines that come from the heart carry more meaning and emotions than pages of poetry written for the sake of writing. A few lines of appreciation for a person you love can give them lot of happiness and joy.
Good memories: Good memories are like money in the bank. They can be saved to help you on a rainy day. Everyone has good memories to speak of, even if only a few. When you feel lonely and sad think about the good times you had. They can provide you comfort as a blanket on a cold night. No matter how much you use it, it is one treasure that will never diminish.
