Tonight alone, I think of my life
Ah! filled with so much of strife
Tonight I search for meaning and purpose
Only to end up with doubts countless
Tonight I dream of my destiny
But end up overwhelmed by life’s difficult journey
Tonight I dream of a life filled with glory
But alas I fear it will all end up in misery
Tonight I dream of achieving greatness
But shudder at the thought of wandering aimless
Tonight I dream of accomplishing the impossible
But fear it will all end up wasteful
Tonight I dream of living a life free of fear
To live a life with courage and to persevere
Tonight I dream of leaving a trail behind
To make a place for myself in the history of mankind
Tonight I think how does it all matter when I am gone
But see no point in other than a life of glory till my breath is withdrawn
